Week 14--Hong Kong

This week has been good and full of so many new experiences! Here are some highlights:

Pday we went to Hong Kong History museum which was amazing and so much fun!

On Wednesday we had our interviews with President Hill. He is the best ever and it was nice to get to know him more. After that we had a pass off with our friend Maria in Wan Chai. We called her and she said she was about 2 minutes away. We wait for 30 minutes. She never showed up. We'll Wan Chai is about 1 hour from our area so that took up most of our day which was sad.

Thursday we had a lesson with a member. This was my favorite member visit I've had yet because 蔡姊妹 was so patient with me and let me practice my Cantonese. Then later that evening we had a lesson with Indi our friend.

On Friday a member fed us 點心 or dimsam. This is like traditional Chinese food and it was yum. Although some weird things as well, but a fun experience.  After wards we went with this member and visited her cousin (non member) in the hospital. It was far away and they ended up feeding us AGAIN. I don't love hospitals so honestly this was a bit rough.
Later that night we had a lesson with our friend Fiona. We extended her a baptism date 3 times because she is ready! But unfortunately after accepting the date she texted afterwards and said "I don't want baptism".

On Saturday we had another member meal at this Italianish American restaurant. It was not good... everything tasted the same, but hey now I can say I've tried snail! They ordered so much food and said that we had to finish all of it, let's just say I went home not feeling the best haha.

On Sunday we had ANOTHER member meal! This was one at a member home. The food was AMAZING. And I love this family so much!

The language: I've realized since being in Hong Kong I haven't talked about the language at all.
It is hard.
But I'm learning!
I know the gift of tongues is real, and although my language is no where near perfect God will provide and help me if I put the effort in.
This is true not only with language learning but daily things as well.
If you give God your effort He will help you and He will provide.
So pray for God's help.
Ask Him what He would have you do!
I know He hears our prayers and your prayers will be answered.

I love you all! Email me! Pray for TKO area!
我知道耶穌基督嘅福音係真實嘅!
